The 2011 show will be held on August 17 & 18. The booth fee is $85.00 and the jury fee is $15.00. There will be free parking at the COA campus on Highway 64 with a shuttle running on both days. On Wednesday, there will be two shuttles running from 11am to 3 pm for the convenience of everyone. It is also a short walk to the waterfront from the COA campus if one dares to go on foot. The show will be open at 10:00 am –6:00 pm on Wednesday and 10:00 am—5:00 pm on Thursday and is free to the public.
The first art show started with a $6,000 grant with the Town of Manteo. “It started with the idea and plans for the revitalization of Manteo, an art show that would attract people to Manteo and enjoy our town. It has proven to be successful.” States Edward Greene as he gears up for this year’s show.
