Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Food Pantry, in partnership with Colington United Methodist Church, is a truck filled with pre-bagged, shelf-stable and perishable foods that visits every third Wednesday of each month to serve area residents that struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency food assistance.  This includes the unemployed, senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for necessities such as rent, utilities, medications and gas to get to work.

The food from the Mobile Food Pantry is free but proof of Dare County residence must be provided.
