Pocosin Arts Workshops

Casting without Equipment with Jen Townsend is scheduled for September 15 & 16. Lost wax casting is an ancient technology, but is still very common in the creation of jewelry today.  This class teaches you how to create a wax model and work with a casting house to turn your wax model into a finished metal product.  This class focuses on wax carving, casting clean up and finding a caster that suits your needs. This class is accessible to all skill levels. Tuition is $225 for this two-day course. The deadline for registration is August 1, 2012.
