3rd Annual Walk Against Addiction will be held on Saurday, September 29, 2012 at First Flight High School
"Our purpose is to educate that addiction is a treatable disease and is nothing to be ashamed of. Let's educate our addicts and those who love them."

9AM - Registration
10AM - Walk Against Addition - 1 mile
$10 Registration Fee/Donation - Includes Tote Bag, pen & wristband
Before & After the Walk ~ There will be professionals in the field of addiction, recovery facilities and support groups available with information and to answer questions including Dare County Coalition Against Substance Abuse (Dare CASA), New Horizons, Two Dreams Outer Banks, Joanne Hummers of Professional Counseling Services, Footprints in Recovery and Oxford House.
-Keynote speaker is Dustin Daniels
Director of Dare Challenge in Dare County
Entertainment - Jay Ellis & Band (9am - 12noon)
After the walk there will be grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks & desserts prepared by the members of Mighty Wind United Methodist Church.

Proceeds from the walk benefit "The Awareness That Addiction is a Disease Fund" to educate people about addiction and assisting with helping those that need treatment for substance abuse.
