Community Thanksgiving

Liberty Christian Fellowship will be having a Thanksgiving meal open to those in our community who would like to join us. We recognize that many people on the Outer Banks have family out of the area for Thanksgiving. As well as families in the wake of our economy may find it hard to celebrate as you have in years past. We invite you to share a wonderful home cooked meal in a warm inviting atmosphere with others from our community. We are open to anyone so please join us. 

We welcome you to come out to Liberty from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM to share a time of Thanksgiving together with us. This is our 2nd year of preparing and serving a Thanksgiving Dinner together. Even if your help is simply a smile and a hug for someone who needs cheer, we're looking forward to your service on this day of thanksgiving.

All food items/funds are donated from local businesses and community members so that we may be able to serve you free of charge. If you would like to donate to this cause please contact Samantha Blackwell at [email protected].

Please contact me if you would like to help me in planning and making this event happen. What a fantastic way for us to spend some time celebrating how truely Thankful we are with one another. I will need volunteers to help on Thanksgiving day as well. I am planning for about 250 guests so please if you know for sure you would like to come then add yourself as coming so I can keep a tally if we need to increase our numbers.
