Santa arrives on Island Farm by ox-drawn wagon, with a Christmas tree and Christmas goose.
Wagon rides will be offered 10:30 - 12:30.
Visit with Santa 11 - 12:30 and again at 2pm, in the farmhouse by a warm fire.
Help decorate the Christmas tree and sample cookies made in the cookhouse.
Experience an 1850s Christmas dinner being prepared that will include the preparation and cooking of the goose as well as other popular dishes from the 1850s. Enjoy a Christmas vignette at the slave cabin, preformed by Professor Billicia Hines, Director of the Theater Program and Associate Professor of Theater at Elizabeth City State University and one of her students. Come join us for an old-fashion Christmas!
Admission $8; children ages 5 and under free.
