Mr. & Mrs. E.C. Knight built their private residence, now known as the Whalehead Club, along the Atlantic flyway to enjoy their passion for waterfowl hunting.
The Whalehead Club is a spectacular example of Art Nouveau architecture and aesthetics. Built in the early 1920s, this magnificent 21,000 sf residence has been restored to its original grandeur and is open for tours year round.
The Whalehead Club is located inside Currituck Heritage Park, just past milepost 11 on Route 12 North in Corolla.
