Secret Spot Surf Shop Grand R-Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Join us Friday, April 13th at 4:30PM for our Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. There will be live music, food, surfboard painting, raffles and lots of other goodies! Oh and did we mention SALES?! We’ll have amazing tent sales the entire weekend!

As many of you know there have been some exciting changes happening here at Secret Spot Surf Shop. In February 2012, our founder Steve Hess decided to step down and hand over the reigns to his long time manager Leanne Robinson and partners Nikki and Shawn Deane. Together the three of them are committed to keeping the same vibe and customer service you’ve known for the last 30 years.

We’re all very excited about the things to come and would like to invite EVERYONE to come join in on the STOKE as we kick off the new Secret Spot Surf Shop!!!

About the New Owners
Leanne Robinson who has managed the store since 2005 is one of the top East Coast women surfers. She has extensive knowledge of the sport and has traveled numerous locations spanning the globe surfing world-class waves. Leanne is respected in the surfing industry for her knowledge in and out of the water and runs the store true to its roots.

Nikki and Shawn Deane have extensive background in marketing, online sales, and web design. Originally meeting during their time living in Hatteras Village, they moved to Richmond, VA in 2001, started a family and founded a successful Web Design and Internet Marketing firm. The partnership with Leanne and Secret Spot Surf Shop is the perfect first step towards their relocation back to the Outer Banks.
