Outer Banks Restaurant Week was created for you because we know you love The Outer Banks and you love to eat! No pretense or snobbery here — it’s all about our local chefs serving up delicious cuisine in some of the area’s best venues.

 

Outer Banks Restaurant Week gives local food enthusiasts and visitors an opportunity to enjoy 3-course, prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus at several participating restaurants throughout the Outer Banks at a fixed price (tax and gratuity not included, please note that).

 

How to Participate

Take a look through the Spring 2012 restaurant specific restaurants and their menu offerings here…Then, anytime between May 11th through 19th, go to any of the restaurants listed and order off their special Spring Restaurant Week menu! (They’ll have printed copies for you to refer to) It’s that easy!! Spring Rstaurant Week 2012 begins Friday and runs through the following Saturday so you’ve got two full weekends and the whole week between to take advantage of these great values.

 

No coupons or passes are needed to enjoy our restaurants special menus—just order off of the special OBX Restaurant Week menu when you get there! With just $20 or $35 price fixed menu choices, you’ll easily know what you are getting and how much it is…before you even get there.

Savor your meal, and when paying your bill, please remember to tip your wait staff! (sales tax and gratutity are NOT included in the pre-fixe price, you are responsible for paying sales tax on your meal.)

 

Featured Event: Brew & Chew Tour

To make the week even more exciting, there is also a featured Brew & Chew Tour at the Full Moon Cafe & Brewery in Manteo.

On Thursday May 17 at 2:00pm (start time), and 3:30pm (start time) and just $20 per person!

Paul Charron, the Full Moon brewer, hosts this instructional and amusing tour of the smallest brew pub in North Carolina. He will walk you through the brewing process, give you the annotated version of the history of beer, and pepper you with anecdotal minutuia that even the most diligent “beer geek” would love. The tour ends with a sampling of ales brewed on premise and a plate of Fish & Chips (beer battered, of course). Advance tickets are required for this one as it is limited to just 15 people.
