The Children’s Theatre of Charlotte presents a new twist on this classic fairy tale. “My vision for this modernized version of Hansel and Gretel was to tell a story about protecting the ones you love,” director Joe Hernandez said. “The story takes the family on a journey through an enchanted forest to not only find safety but also to bring together a family that is on the verge of divorce.” The show is recommended for 7 and older. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advance at the ticket office at RIFP or the day of the event.
