Accounting Manager

Beach Realty & Construction, a trusted leader in Outer Banks real estate and property management since 1964, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of trust accounting, property management, and real estate accounting. Prior experience in property management accounting is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
- Manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare financial reports and reconciliations
- Collaborate with management on budgets, forecasts, and audits
- Support process improvements and problem-solving initiatives
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Communicate with property owners, vendors, and management to resolve accounting inquiries
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience (vacation rental or property management preferred)
- 2+ years of trust accounting experience
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and property management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- North Carolina Real Estate License a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
