Dispatcher and Administrative Assistant
Job Location: Kill Devil Hills
Fast-paced Managed Services and IT Support company seeks a qualified Dispatcher and Administrator to provide first customer contact, triage support requests, and provide collaborative assistance to team members.
Candidate will be responsible for monitoring and prioritizing support requests received from our customers via email, our online ticketing system, and by phone. He or she will analyze each situation and provide clear logical summaries to appropriately dispatch technicians. Additional position duties will include ordering and inventory management.
Candidate must have strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a necessity - with the ability to ask probing questions to gather and provide detailed technical information.
A basic understanding of technical terminology, workstation operating systems, and networking concepts is beneficial. The ability to work independently and well with a team is essential. The right candidate will be able to effectively manage multiple calls and concurrent tasks, while providing exemplary customer service to the businesses and end users we support.
