Job Location: Hatteras Island
The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum is actively looking for community members who have an interest in maritime culture, shipwrecks and supporting the efforts of the museum, which is part of the North Carolina Maritime Museum system.
We seek people from all backgrounds and skills. Volunteers greet our visitors daily, explore the history of the Outer Banks, teach crafts, demonstrate talents, give lectures and help host special events.
Our volunteers find working with the museum staff and public not only rewarding and educational but lots of fun! We are open year round and happy to work with seasonal and year-round volunteers. We train you and invite people from all walks of life with a desire to serve the community to apply.
Please visit our website at graveyardoftheatlantic.com to learn more about the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum. Come explore the museum. Join us in a host of upcoming activities for people of all ages!
